The village of Argalasti is historically connected to 'Argonauts'. Argonauts were a band of Greek heroes from Greek mythology who, in the years before the Trojan War, accompanied Jason to Colchis in his quest to find the Golden Fleece. Their name comes from their ship, the Argo, which was named after its builder, Argus. "Argonauts", therefore, literally means "Argo sailors". It is said that the name of the village of Argalasti is connected to Argonauts.
In Greek mythology, Mount Pelion (which took its name from the mythical king Peleus, father of Achilles) was the homeland of Chiron the Centaur, tutor of many ancient Greek heroes, such as Jason, Achilles, Theseus and Heracles. It was in Mount Pelion, near Chiron's cave, that the marriage of Thetis and Peleus took place. The uninvited goddess Eris, to take revenge for having been kept outside the party, brought a golden apple with the inscription "To the Fairest". The dispute that then arose between the goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athene resulted in events leading to the Trojan War. When the giants Otus and Ephialtes attempted to storm Olympus, they piled Mount Pelion upon Mount Ossa. The house is located in the Headvillage of Argalasti, municipality of Magnesia, periphery of Pelion, region of Thessaly in the South-Eastern part of the fabulous mountain of Centauries. It abstains 40Km from the city of Volos, around 200 Km from Thessaloniki and roughly 350Km from Athens, while the nearest airport is that of New Anhialos (60 Km). 
The basic advantage of the house's location (on the mountain,in the middle of the peninsula) is that it gives the possibility to have access and enjoy the beautiful beaches of both the Aegean Sea and the Pagasitikos Gulf during the summer and admire nature both on mountain and sea during the winter. The environment combines wonderful mountain and sea landscapes making it in this way unique, exotic....wonderful.
Moreover, the periphery of the village is one of the most expensive in Greece while during the Summer one of the most finest cultural events take place.
